Bistro De L'Ile Bizard

My wife and I visited on Oct. 26th. Warm & friendly greeting, superb setting. We were the first to arrive that evening and everyone who arrived afterwards seemed to be regulars, that says a lot. The menu has a good variety, the meat was cooked to perfection. Bring your own wine made the whole thing affordable. They did not push service of the wine on us, we prefer to pour our own anyways. Many places charge a service fee for bring your own wine (cork & pour)and they did not. They were very accomodating with off-menu request at the desert stage which I truely appreciated. They were also quite open to suggestions, after all who better than the customer... Wise! I would hope they staff up on busy nights. The only down side, the illusion of bottled water from a vintage bottle...cute because I was not paying for some but a bit of a shock to the nose! Best to pour from a pitcher that has rested.

One of the best French restaurants in montreal

Avec des amies, sommes alles souper le vendredi 30 octobre. La nourriture y est excellente potage aux poireaux, carr d'agneau, filet migon, cuisson telle que demande pour chacune. Le service laisse un peu dsirer... probablement par manque de temps, la gentillesse et sourire taient prsents mais jamais le service du vin n'y a t fait ou mme offert (on apporte notre vin) part l'ouverture des bouteilles.
Souhaitons qu'avec l'exprience une amlioration sera apporte car, pour le prix de la facture qui est tout fait honnte, on s'attend quand mme un meilleur service.
